Discussion:
The DAMIT model above is plotted at the expected diameter of Melete. With only one chord, it is not possible to tell if Jacqui was north or south of the centre line of the event. The model has been plotted centred on the observed chord.

I printed out a finder chart from the IOTA website for comparison, since it was an IOTA prediction. Fortunately the star was there, and it was a nice, clean D and R, just a little early.
