Discussion:

The DAMIT model above is plotted at the expected diameter of Melete. With only one chord, it is not possible to tell if Jacqui was north or south of the centre line of the event. The model has been plotted centred on the observed chord.

The figure below shows the Tangra light curve of the occultation.

Comments: This star was fainter than expected, no doubt some of that due to the near proximity of
the waning gibbous Moon about 23 degrees away, but for a 11.8 mag star it did not appear in Guide9,
which I make my finder charts from.
I printed out a finder chart from the IOTA website for comparison, since it was an IOTA prediction.
Fortunately the star was there, and it was a nice, clean D and R, just a little early.
