Discussion:
The circle above is plotted at the expected diameter of Achilles. With only one chord, it is not possible to tell if Dave was north or south of the centre line of the event. The miss is sufficiently distant from the chord to not be a reliable guide. The circle has been plotted centred on the observed chord.
