A 5 second occultation was recorded by Brian Loader from Darfield, South Island of New Zealand. Unusually, there was a single video frame during the event where the star was clearly visible. No other reports were received for this event.
For the purposes of this analysis, this observation has been handled as if it were two occultations.

Discussion:
Assuming that the single video frame of the image is correct, it would appear that Brian has observed a grazining occultation by (694) Ekard. With only one chord it is not possible to determine whether Brian was north or south of the central line of the event.
