Discussion:
The circle above is plotted at the expected 276 km diameter of Euphrosyne. With only one chord it is not possible to determine whether Stev was north or south of the central line of the event although given the chord length, he was most likely close to the centreline. Johns observation does not constrain the conclusion. The circle has been plotted on the observed chord .
This is Steve's second observation of an occultation by (31) Euphrosyne with a previous positive recorded on 2008 June 16.
The figure below shows the Tangra light curve of the occultation analysed through AOTA.
