Discussion:
The Ellipse is plotted at the same as the predicted area of a 65 km Diameter circle. With only one chord and the constraining miss make it possible to assert that Brian was south of the central line of the event and that the shape was not circular. The ellipse is drawn to show one possible shape an orientation that fits but as most small asteroids are potato shaped the center could be further south.
