Discussion:

The ellipse above is plotted at the best fit axis ratio as determined by Occult. With two chords we can be confident of the path of Palisiana and that it was close to the predicted line. There is sadly no Damit or ISAM 3D model to confirm the shape. Light Curve Data results for Palisana in the light curve data below suggests that in the time between the 2 chords Palisiana could have rotated a significant turn so the correct ellipse is probably less elongated. Asteroid 914 Palisana Albedo 0.0943 Rotation period 15.922 hours .. rotation in 10 mins 3.8 deg. .. time to rotate 5 deg 13.3 mins. Maximum mag variation 0.18 => maximum axis ratio 1.18 : 1
