Metis occultation - 2013 March 15

Discussion:

The circle above is plotted at the expected 200 km diameter of Metis. With no positive chords we cannot say where the actual path was, so the circle has been plotted on the predicted path.

Comments: Variable atmospheric transparency caused significant variations
in the lightcurve that required normalisation with a comparison star.
As with any occultation of small magnitude drop,
short-duration events can't be discriminated from background noise.
In this case, I can rule out durations longer than 3.2s (<=3.2 is an unlikely
duration compared to the 16.9s expected maximum).

Comments: Nothing apparent in the data.
Used Occular without any convincing results.
Plausible that any event had a brightness drop too small to detect with my system.
2nd station failed due to recorder failure
