Discussion:
The ellipse above is plotted at the same area as a circle of the expected 76 km diameter of Danae. With two chords we have confidence that the path centre is close to Steve's location. There are no previous obseravtions of Danae with multiple chords and no data on the shape from lightcurve data. It is noted that Steve made a previous observation of Danae from the same location with just one chord in 2004.
The figure below shows the Limovie light curve of the occultation.

When it was obvious that the critical time had passed I stopped continual monitoring, and then noticed the elongation/separation a couple of minutes later. To the naked eye, despite careful monitoring, there was no drop in brightness. _______________________________ Observer Jonathan Bradshaw Location Samford, Qld, AU Longitude +152:52:22.7 Latitude -27:21:22.8 Altitude 95 m Datum WGS84 Telescope Dobsonian Aperture 50 cm Seeing Steady Clear Timing GPS - time inserted Video with frame analysis Missed Comments: A perfect view of nothing happening Report prepopulated by OccultWatcher's Reporting Addin ver.1.1
