Discussion:
The circle above is plotted at the expected 199 km diameter of Iris. With one chord plus the miss Jonathan it is possible to determine that John was north of the central line of the event and that the actual path was about 230km south of the predicted line.
The figures below show the drift-scan image of the occultation together and the data as analysed by John's Scanalyser software.
