Discussion:
The ellipse above is a best fit to the chords with the constraint that the ellipse have the same area as the expected 80 km diameter of Klotho. The path is approximately 180 km West of the predicted line.
The figures below shows the Limovie image of the occultation from Hristo's observation which even hints at the possibility of a "flash" in the middle.

Then when I analysed the video I wasn't convinced enough that there was an occultation but when Dave Gault reported that he had a 12 sec event I checked my video again. After an hour and a half of measurements with different cursor appertures I finally got convinced that the noticable intensity drop is caused by an occultation. The drop was only 0.4m. Light curves attached. Camera used: WAT 120N+ with integration level 6 which corresponds to 32 frames. _______________________________ Observer John Broughton Location Reedy Creek, QLD,AU Longitude +153:23:52.8 Latitude -28:06:30.3 Altitude 66 m Datum ,NZ1949) : WGS84 Telelscope SCT Apperture 25 cm Seeing Steady Clear Timing Tape Recorder + time signal + shutter Drift scan Missed Comments: : No Occultation
