Discussion:
The plot above shows the best fit ellipse for the 3 measured chords. It has axis dimensions of 44.3 by 64.3 km. The area of the ellipse, 8948 sq km, compares well to published diameter of 52 km for Lova giving an area of 8494 sq km.
The times observed were about 12 seconds later than predicted and the path was about 40 km South of the predicted centre line.
