TTSO5 (Trans Tasman Symposium on Occultations Fifth edition) will be held in conjunction with the RASNZ Conference 2011, in Napier, From May 26th to 30th 2011. TTSO5 is scheduled to take place on Thursday 26th and morning of Friday 27th.

The general outline timetable is:

Thursday:
— Video Camera (especially Watec 120N+) workshop
— Star hopping/Pre-point workshop – We know many people have trouble finding the right star.
— Observing Manual
— OccultWatcher - update rather than workshop?
— Occult - update rather than workshop?

Friday:
— Tangra workshop
— Papers:
— John Broughton's occultation scope
— John Talbot's review of year
. (will be presented by Murray Forbes as John will be overseas)
— other papers

We are calling for any papers with an Occultation flavour that you might like to present. They could be a fit in the above headings or something different. As a guide aim for a paper that can be presented in about 15 to 20 mins with 10 mins for questions. It could be very technical or light hearted off the wall.
